Day 1

     
Group arrive at the Rummana Campsite Tower "Entrance Gate", where they can enjoy the magnificent views of the Dana Nature Reserve during the afternoon hours. The Rummana Shuttle Bus will take them to the Rummana Campsite along a dramatic winding road cutting through steep wadis After watching the Sunset the visitors will enjoy the popular local dishes, Arabic coffee and Sweet tea served by the local staff.

Day 2

     
 In the early morning the group will be guided to the Old Dana Village by our local guide on a
three-hour hike along zigzagging old paths running through the mountains of the Reserve. On the way he will tell them Interesting facts and stories about the area and the people lived in it. This hike is one of the best ways to experience the splendor of Wadi Dana. They will walk along the rim of Wadi shagg al Kelbe, and then along the slopes of Wadi Dana. When they reach the other side of Wadi Dana the trail leads into the Dana Village terraced gardens. The terraced gardens have a lovely fresh fragrance and support a variety of wild flowers and birds. The local staff at the Dana Guest House will serve a village breakfast following the hike. After that, there will be a tour of the Dana Center, which will explain more about the integration between the local people and conservation. "Helping Nature Helping People" is our message to the visitors when they visit the workshops and the Dana Nature Shop where they can enjoy our products and buy at leisure. Visiting the Old Village with the local guide where he will explain more about the history of the Old Village, Terraced Gardens and the village people will continue the tour. They will enjoy the local customs and hospitality and perhaps join a village family for a cup of tea or coffee. The tour will end by having a meal served by the local staff at the Dana Guest House. The Village Shuttle Bus will then take the visitors up to the viewpoint where the bus will be waiting for them. In the evening the visitors will enjoy watching the sunset from the Dana Guest House Terrace which sits perched on the edge of the spectacular nature scenes of the Wadi. Sleeping at the Guest House is guaranteed to take you back from your hectic every day life to the quiet easy going living of Dana.

Day 3

      The adventure continues by descending into the long-winding Wadi Dana to explore its hidden secrets. In the first four kilometers of the hike, the group will descend rapidly from wooded highlands to shrubby steppe vegetation. Surface water appears halfway along the Wadi at a point known as Tur'ah. The local guide will guide the visitors through this magnificent Wadi on a six-hour walk. He will explain to them the reasons behind the changes in scenery as you go along. On the way they will discover more about traditional Bedouin life and perhaps be invited into a Bedouin Tent for a cup of tea or coffee. In the evening they will spend a pleasant stay at the Feinan Campsite and watch the sunset in a myriad of colors.

Day 4

       This day starts by exploring the site of Fienan, the major archaeological sit-in the south of Jordan after Petra, with evidence of Neolithic, Iron Age, Roman, Byzantine, and Early Islamic occupation The site was once an extensive settlement based on wealth derived from the nearby copper mines and encompasses an area of over 50hectares. Discover the beauty of Wadi Feinan, the ancient water system and the medicinal springs. The tour will continue in the area providing opportunities to see numerous acacia trees and marvel at the wide-open views. In the evening, the over night will be in Feinan campsite. 


Day 5

        From Feinan campsite the hike starts to Gregra Village and then head southeast to Petra. Through the wonderful scenery of the different Wadis landscape, the hike reaches to Abu Sakakeen area, camping close to Abu -Sakakeen Mountain.

Day 6

       Starting from Abu - Sakakeen area, the hike goes onwards to Petra, in the afternoon reach the site of little Petra, the place of the only living example Nabatean Triclinia with fresco paintings inside, then continue the hike down to Wadi Mosa for O/N.

Day 7

      This day will start early to catch the first light beams on the beautiful rose - red facades of Petra spending the whole day hiking around the great city, all carved in the multicolored sandstone then back to over night in Wadi Mosa.

Day 8

       Drive in the early morning down to Wadi Rum, the valley of the moon. Where the majestic landscape of the mountains. Containing the mysterious inscriptions of the ancient past of the area meeting the victorious modern history of Jordan, and the fantasy of Lawrence of Arabia stories and then enjoying the over night between the arms of the mountains of history of Wadi Rum.

Day 9

        Move to Aqaba, Jordan's only coastal city for a full day relaxing
swimming and snorkeling on the sandy warm beaches of the Red Sea gulf, with
an optional tour to the castle and the Aquarium of Aqaba, and over night in one
of the beach hotels.

Day 10

Drive back to Amman for departure.
